Partners
for Automated Vehicle Education (PAVE) recently launched their second annual
PAVE Essay Contest and Scholarship Program for high school students in D.C.,
Maryland, and Virginia. This year the Maryland
Department of Transportation (MODT) is a sponsor of the program.
The
contest encourages young people to contemplate a future with automated vehicles
– and write about what this technology could mean for their communities.
The program offers first, second and third place winners and each will receive
college scholarship funding. The contest runs through 3/15.

staff to encourage your high school juniors and seniors to participate.
