How
to Administer the New Online MCM Scholarship Application
1. The scholarship application is always available at www.mdmasonicscholarship.org.
Requirements for the scholarship are listed on the first page of
the application and require that a student attend a PUBLIC Maryland High School
AND know which lodge is currently working with their school. Prince
Frederick Lodge No. 142 is the sponsoring Lodge.
2. Students will access the application via the web
address www.mdmasonicscholarship.org or via the
provided QR code.
3. To complete the application students will need:
a. Relevant information pertaining to grades (GPA, Class Rank,
Class number)
b. A Letter from a school official (teacher, principal, counselor)
detailing student Attributes, Abilities, talents, interests, scholarship, study
habits, and probability of success in college or vocational school, need for
financial assistance, and any pertinent or unusual factors which should be
considered by the scholarship selection committee. (Must be a PDF)
c. A 300–500-word personal essay discussing future education,
career, and life goals.
Included in this essay should be any other factors the student may
feel would be relevant to the Scholarship Selection Committee. (WORD or PDF
files accepted)
d. Additional optional documentation (this could include photos,
video links or other
relevant materials. (WORD or PDF files accepted).
4. After a student has completed an
application, a PDF of the application will be instantly placed in a Google Drive folder
for the Lodge.
5.
The scholarship application dates are from January 1, 2024, through
March 31, 2024. At that time, the scholarship form will automatically
close.
6. The sponsoring lodge
is Prince Frederick Lodge No.142
